DESKTOP SETTINGS FOR NEW MAIL SERVER
For Outlook Users or try to find these settings in your email software program.
In Outlook, choose Tools and then Email Accounts from the drop down menu across the top of the page.
Select Add NEW Email Account.
Then hit the NEXT button at the bottom of the screen.
Select POP3 for server type on the Server Type page:
Then hit the NEXT button at the bottom of the screen.
On the Internet Email Settings page fill in 'your name' and 'email' in the correct fields. Then for incoming mail server AND outgoing mail server type in:
CALL US
Fill in your user name (should just be user name rkort and not rkort@web2market.com) and *password (THAT WAS ASSIGNED TO YOU FROM WEB 2 MARKET).
*NEW PASSWORD RULES:
Must be at least 6 characters long
Must contain at least one letter
Must contain at least one number
Must contain at least one special character from a specific list of characters.
You can check the box that says remember my password.
Then click on the MORE SETTINGS button.
Under General settings type in the name for which you would like to call this account.
Hit okay
Then hit the MORE SETTINGS button again and click on the OUTGOING SERVERS tab. This should be left alone and no check boxes should be checked.
Hit the OK button.
Then click on the MORE SETTINGS button once again and click on the CONNECTION TAB.
Check the box next to the statement "CONNECT USING MY LOCAL AREA NETWORK (LAN)".
Hit the OK button
Then click on the MORE SETTINGS button and select the ADVANCED tab.
Incoming server(POP3)port should be
CALL US
CHANGE Outgoing server (SMTP)port to
CALL US
Then hit okay
When you return back to the Internet Email Setting Page hit the TEST ACCOUNT SETTINGS button which will send a test email to your account for you to retrieve. A message will also appear if any problems were detected.
Then hit NEXT button and you should get the page stating finished.
Your new email account should be set up and ready to use.
After a week or when your old email account brings up an error, go back in and delete your old email account by clicking on Tools from across the top of the page in Outlook. Then choose VIEW OR CHANGE EXISTING EMAIL ACCOUNTS. Then hit the NEXT button. Then delete your old email account by highlighting the account name and then clicking on the REMOVE button. DO NOT DELETE YOUR NEW ACCOUNT.
