This plugin allows your customers to upload images or other files to your website in the product detail page or after they make a purchase on your site. Great for custom t-shirts, mouse pads, hats, or any other customizable merchandise! Customers can upload the files in two different AbleCommerce pages- checkout receipt or my order page. The upload files are zipped up as they are uploaded, if desired. Files are renamed with the order number and time stamp. There is an admin page to display the uploads in most recent first order and a section to filter the uploads by AbleCommerce order number. Image files that are not zipped show the image as a thumbnail next to the hyper link with the file name. Files are written to the server's hard drive as they are uploaded and to keep CPU and memory usage low. Maximum file size is 2GB (see the More Details link).
The screen shot below is an example of the File Uploader in action. The upload copy and fields are displayed at the bottom of the receipt page.
