W2M Shipping Coupons are designed specifically for creating Free or Discounted Shipping Coupons. This plugin will allow you to create a Coupon for Free Shipping, 10% Off Shipping, $5.00 Off Shipping, or any other discount (or even combination of discounts) that you want. Coupons can be limited to a date range, minimum and maximum purchase amounts, specific groups, and specific shipping methods.
What Coupon options are available?
Shipping Coupons can have the following values:
Coupon Name:
The name of the coupon as it will appear in the user's order.
Coupon Code:
The code that will be entered by the customer to use this coupon.
Minimum Purchase:
The minimum value of the products in a shipment for this coupon to be in effect.
Maximum Purchase:
The maximum value of the products in a shipment for this coupon to be in effect.
If you want to have different discounts at different levels, but still use the same coupon code you would create multiple coupons with the same code but different Min and Max Purchase amounts.
Discount Amount:
The amount that shipping will be reduced with this coupon. This will allow coupons like $5.00 off Shipping.
Discount Percent:
The percentage that shipping will be reduced with this coupon. Enter 100 for Free Shipping.
NOTE: Discount Amount and Discount Percent CAN be combined. The Discount Amount is deducted first and then the Discount Percent is calculated.
Effective Dates:
from: mm/dd/yyyy to: mm/dd/yyyy
The coupon will only be available during this date range.
Enabled For:
All Groups or Selected Groups - So you can have the coupon available only to certain group members.
Discount Type:
Select the way the discount will be appplied to the order - as a line item discount or as reduced shipping charges.
Coupon Type:
Indicate whether this coupon can be applied to all shipments or just the first shipment in an order.
Applicable Shipping Methods:
You can specify which Shipping Methods the coupon can be applied to, so if you only want Standard Shipping to get the coupon and not any expedited methods, you can do that.
