The deadline for PCI Compliance is upon us. Web 2 Market has successfully upgraded many AC5.5 (and older) storefronts to the new AbleCommerce 7. And our clients could not be more pleased with, in addition to safeguarding their business, all the new e-commerce technology and marketing-rich features AC7 has to offer.

DO NOT DELAY. Some of you are still operating on legacy AbleCommerce versions. As your e-commerce partner, we suggest you not delay in your upgrade. We're not entirely sure the immediate ramifications to your business if you don't meet the deadline. Credit card Merchant Service Providers are allowed to fine non-compliant merchants. Also, we understand that insurance companies have been asking businesses for proof of PCI compliance. So, that should indicate the urgency and potential economic impact to you.

As of today, ALL merchants that process, store, or transmit credit card information, must be PCI compliant and use ‘validated payment application’ software.
