Dear {{{first_name}}},
We hope your 2010 has been successful thus far. The next three years look to be very good years for internet retailers. Gartner and other forecasters are calling for annual sales growth of 10-15% for online retailers for 2010-2012. To help capture some of those sales, we've continued to enhance our Site Map Submission Service. Details are below. Also, just for fun, we've got a link to music video by a Web 2 Market, staffer, John Schoenberg.
We're looking forward to helping you grow your business!
Sincerely,
Allan Soave

Site Map Submission Service (SMSS) Upgrades!
If you host with Web 2 Market, you've probably already signed up for the SMSS. The SMSS) performs two functions. First, it generates a daily XML site map. The site map file is indexed by Google, Yahoo! among others. The file is stored within your web site.
Second, the SMSS creates and submits product feeds to Google Products, TheFind.com, Bizrate, Shopzilla, Dealtime and Shopping.com sites. Once you've established accounts with these product search engines, the SMSS will handle the daily submission of product feeds to them. As part of the service, Web 2 Market will assist in establishing the required accounts.
We've made a couple of enhancements in the last few months. First, we've added more data to the Google Base submission. We now also submit the height, weight, depth, length and brand fields. Google ranks submissions with more data higher, all else being equal. Second, we now submit the whole breadcrumb trail (category trail) in the feed. This should provide more matches on searches.
Also worth noting is that TheFind.com accepts GoogleBase product feeds. It's the 1,500 largest site on the Internet according to Alexa, so it should generate some traffic, if you use it. Did we mention it's FREE! You may or may not need a little coding assistance from us to get registered. Thanks to Tracey at www.costumespartyandevents.com for finding TheFind.com!
John Schoenberg Rocks!
If you host your site at W2M, you likely have dealt with John Schoenberg. He's one of our networking experts. He's also an accomplished musician, he sings, playing both drums and guitar with a couple local bands. His band, The Playoff, recently recorded a video, which you can see at:
